Playing For Integration is a collective aiming to integrate European cultures through folk music and song writing.
Supported by the European Education and Culture DG’s Lifelong Learning Programme, artists from Austria, Germany, Denmark, Polen, Ireland, Slovenia, Romania and England travel to the respective countries to explore traditional folk music and create new songs in the period from 2011 to 2013.
This website will keep track of the progress, display a songbook of traditional music and a catalogue of songs created throughout the project.

Playing For Integration is coming to Denmark. Check out the shows on www.playingforintegration.com
We are looking forward to introduce our guests to traditional Danish folk music and dancing. Best, Denmark.
The next gathering of integrators is in Aarhus Denmark from the 28th of March to the 1st of April 2012.
Participants can look forward to a stay by the coast where every excursion is within walking distance.
As well as exploring Danish folk music there’ll be a great focus on co-writing and concerts.
